The Eco Button, what on earth is an Eco button David I hear you asking? well it is fantastic, you simply buy it for around £8 and plug it with it's USB plug into any Laptop or desk PC and it flashes green___ O yes, great but then what? well say you are doing things on your PC and the doorbell goes you press this Eco button and your computer goes to sleep, when you return press the button and the screen you were on re-appears. That visit to door, phone, shop has cost you no electric at all really, and on your screen it tells you how much CO you have saved per day/week, plus it tells you how much power charges you saved yourself too. Hello David,
After reading your shall we say plug on this forum about this Eco button thing I got so keen I popped into town and got one, it only took a few seconds to plug into my usb and then I was ask to download the software.
I think it's brill and I am glad you told me about it, my daughter loves it too.
What does it do folks? well the ecobutton™ acts as a strong visual reminder and prompt for you to save electricity each time your computer is going to be left idle.
The ecobutton™ is illuminated and sits on your table/desk top next to your keyboard. It connects to your computer via a USB cable.
I got mine for under £8 so I think it is worth it, and just hope it stands up to the bashing my little one gives it every hour of the day.

After reading the bit on here last weekend about that button I got one today, it certainly puts the PC into a deep sleep when I pressed it, and when I returned to my desk I woke the PC up again and my work was still on screen.

I have just got the Eco button for my desk PC today, it works a treat, just hope it saves me what it cost going to buy it today.
I will report back after a few weeks of use, but it nseems ok.

Successful weight loss is more than just a simple diet plan. It is something that requires a person to have both a simple diet and exercise plan. A person can lose weight very easily with by a formula. As long as the dieter sticks to the main plan, he or she should be able to lose the desired amount of pounds.

Well I only am about 10st 8 now not been much more or less the last 15 years, I eat 3 small meals a day, walk 3 miles a day. |
