I am having treatment for a Prostate cancer, and yesterday I had to have this Jelly stuff put over my body and then a scan, what is this test for? why not a normal xray?

Hi Tony,
I too had that test not long ago, they smear this special stuff over your tummy, and it some how shows the bits like Liver and things in side of us, it is not too bad, but I hate the fact you cannot eat or drink till the test is done.
