Suffolk is believed by many to boast a portal used by aliens to visit us from other worlds, and the number of UFO sightings in the county is rapidly growing.
The Evening Star has launched new section Stargate Suffolk in a bid to keep everyone up to date with all the stories and sightings of alien craft, mystery lights and even little green men.
And we want your stories – let us know what you think about the UFO mysteries of Suffolk, and your experiences of the unexplained.
The truth is out there – and the Star wants to find it.

Looking to the west from Stoke park, I saw a bright orange light moving north-eastwards in the sky at 6.45pm this (Saturday) evening.
Possibly the Police helicopter but i couldnt hear it. Does the Police helicopter have a bright orange light pointing portside / backwards?
Possibly one of the many planes that fly overhead but it it didnt seem to be the normal route and I cant recall seeing one with one single constant orange light. I watched it for about 2 minutes. It was going at a constant speed in a straight line and It finally kind of faded out in the sky rather than going into the horizon. Being dark I could not guess on it's height / distance or speed.
Did anyone else see this?

Orange light in the sky last night 14/06/2009 it was over my house in County Durham last night ,very bright orange light, my partner also was with me and shouted a naboughour who said it could be some kind of light you can buy which floats in the sky ?and can travel for miles? Am not so sure because this light stoped for a few moments then moved slowly over our house, then be for we knew it it was way over in the sky and had turned into a spot of orange some miles away then gone in a flash! No soud coming from it at all !! Very strange !

HI just to add to my last post, i agree with other post this orange light was like something burning ,like a burning rock or what ever is up above us, but the movement of this orange light was so very smooth. I wanted to film it but as always my phone was flat !!!

OMG if I hadn’t seen them for myself I wouldnt believe it, 11.25pm 13th June 2009. I live at the top of dunston bank and have a view over gateshead and newcastle. A formation of of nine orange lights asending up over bensham, a diamond shape with a tail that went up then disapeared with no sound. A tried to tape it but had no charge in my camera. One minute later, travelling at speed a helicoper flew over the area circuling gateshead and newcastle. These lights were not travelling across the sky but upwards. I am totally freaked.

Quite a lot of these things can be Chinese light things, that fad has caught on over the last year or so, but not very many of those would be able to travel from Cornwall to Suffolk without going out, and I know these things were still alight 9 hours after being seen first. I honestly do think that the Planet Earth is being watched quite hard now by a un-known planet out in the big blue yonder.
Let us all just hope that they have found a good food diet in the many years they have been going, or we earth human beings just may end up culled and on the menu for them if they get hungry.
