I have just upgraded my sky service to the new HD box, it is a great picture, but seeing as most people cannot be watching all day long at £27 per month it is expensive.

We bought 37ins screen tv with freeview, we bought freesat, but it has only 1 hd chan the BBC TEST one, so we are now on Sky sat till freesat gets better.

If you buy free sat you only get ITV (mostly sport) or BBC HD in the HD format, but when you pay for sky £28 or abouts you get around 22 HD channels, sadly mostly not good content, but if you leave sky after a year as most will, you get BBC HDTV/ITV4 and 1 other HD channel, so if you have Freesat too your well away for FREE.

I love the way that you can get home from work, get your tea and sit and watch any Sky program you like, if anyone rings or calls, you can pause the program, and go back to where you left it, that's great I feel.
