Why is it that patients seem to be in bigger danger in hospitals these days? out of every 10 people who go in hospital 6 will be worse than they use to be when they go in. That sends shudders through me, and everyone I know, but it is true.

I hate to say this, but yes it is true, you have a 97% chance of dieing in UK hospitals if you have an operation, but even to have check up you have a 74% chance of dieing from infections.

I went to a local hospital today to visit a dear friend who was taken ill at the weekend, and I was shocked to see that after 15 hours of being pushed into a cubicle had not received any treatment at all. I feel that with strokes faster care is a must, not getting pushed into the side wards and out of sight, or maybe this is how we treat the over 70 year olds now?
