My son went to Leeds uni and read English Literature.
Some grotty student flats and houses in that city!!!!

Yes chrissie, I have got first hand knowledge of the said flats, should do I live in one, and we have rats here now and then too, and he is the owner of our flat, right little rat, or should that be prat?
We pay £140 per week for this 2 bed flat, got mates in helping me with rent, could not be here if I was on my own at that price.

The thing I found most annoying Karen was that we had to pay rent all summer even for the 3 months he was at home!!!!!!!!!!!!
Some University cities don`t do this but the big places usually do
Its daylight robbery from absentee landlords who don`t care two hoots whwther the places are clean or in good repair.
They know students HAVE to live somewhere and charge them a fortune for very little.
Hopefully it will be worth it in the end Karen.
What degree are you doing?
