A cosmetic procedure to have her buttocks sculpted has ended in tragedy for a model and former beauty queen.
Solange Magnano, who won the title of Miss Argentina in 1994, died Sunday at the age of 38 following complications from a gluteoplasty procedure.
The procedure - which inserts implants into the buttocks to make them more shapely - took a nasty turn when a liquid injection reportedly made its way to Magnano's lungs and brain.
Magnano was rushed to the hospital with a pulmonary embolism - in which a blood clot blocks blood flow to the lungs - and passed away two days later.
