Remember as well as humans needing more food and warmth your cat and dog need some too.
Most dogs love a luke warm cup of tea so when you make one, place just a little with milk to cool it and put it down for your dog.
Also your dog needs just a bit more food from Nov till April to keet well.

Hi Barry,
Yes you are right, they do need a little extra food at the start of the day in winter, try not to over feed though, and as humans too should try to do make sure you do not feed your pets too late in the day, because like us it only turns to fat.
Try to make your pets last meal no later than 6pm.

Sadly I am hearing of many pet cats and dogs dieing this winter, cancer alone is 79% higher in pets today than just 3 years ago, it looks as if Japan problem is now in food & drink chain.
