If people sneeze and hold the nose and mouth shut tight I have heard that doing it can burst a vein in the heart, is that right?

Yes this has often happened, it is th preasure build up.

Yes I have heard of this too, best not to hold the nose too tight.

Yes I have read of this, you should allow pressure to get out of your mouth and nose, otherwise yes a weak blood vessel could break in the brain, or even your eyes.

Just this week I heard of 2 men who had heart attacks when sneezing but both are doing well now.
