It is very sad to hear of all those people including crew that are lost on the French plane yesterday.
However one thing is certain and that is with all todays high tec stuff, people in the USA/Russia/UK etc still have no idea as to where a large plane is anywhere over the Atlantic yet, god help us if anyone fired a missile from that part of the world. In the UK our radar systems mostly look east, the reason is that was where we thought a war world come from.
You would also have thought that with a lot of people sending Texts as they did from the plane that this would have left a large patten on the phone network to say where the last calls come from.

Yes this crash was quite a shock after quite a good run of late without any big accidents. Seeing as another plane see fire balls in the sea it could have been Lightning storms that took it down, or a bomb, as that would start fires too. I think it is more like a person lighting a fag, as 11 hours without one is a long time, my wife has to have one every 20 minutes 24 hours of the day, she should have had a chimney pot on her head I think.
