Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbot has given a press conference, calling the G20 summit the most 'influential and significant gathering' that’s been held in his country.
Abbott says the G20 has committed to a growth package reviewed by the International Monetary Fund and the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development, that would boost the global economy by 2.1 percent in the next five years if fully implemented.
This package, called the "Brisbane Action Plan," contains 800 separate reform measures, including a global infrastructure hub to be based in Sydney.
