Spending lots of money

Who do todays brides seem to want to spend so much money on weddings? most of my mates when they marry wont marry anyone unless they hire a stretch Limousine car, Horse & Carriage, have a massive honeymoon abroad for a minimum of 4 weeks, then come back to the UK and expect a brand new house filled with every gadget you can buy today.

Why start the marriage in such massive Dept's? I think it is the wrong way to go these days, when we married we went to Skegness for 1 week, rented a home the first 9 years till we saved up, got it paid off now and very happy.

By god love, you are the most sensible lady I have seen for ages, was a breath of fresh air to read your views, if my wife had your sort of sense we would still be together, she cost me a fortune, and as you said our marriage stated in dept, my health went down hill, honest it was like sinking money into a hole, she could spend money from 9 am till 4pm 7 days a week, then when everything I had was gone, off she went to do it again with a new bloke, no wonder some men kill there wifes.
